Description
The SOG Firesteel Sharpener combines two useful tools – a knife sharpener and a fire steel. A flat diamond surface is provided for putting a fine edge on a flat blade, and a diamond rod allows you to sharpen serrated blades. The fire steel allows you to get a fire going even if you dont have a lighter or matches. A simply scrape the back of your knife blade along the steel to create a shower of hot sparks that will ignite your kindling.
